About Our Chamber

 

The Giles County Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1937. The Chamber is made up of over 140 members from the Giles County area who represent all types of business (retail, wholesale, professional, financial, service, industrial), individuals, non-profit organizations and others. The 15-member Board of Directors are elected to serve 3-year terms with 5 Directors expiring each year. The Executive Committee consists of a President, Executive Vice President, 4 Vice-Presidents of Economic and Industrial Development, Community Affairs, Finance, a Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Director.


The Chambers Mission Is:

To promote the overall development of Giles County; To help develop a positive environment for the operation and growth of business, industry, and tourism; To contribute to the development of a better quality of life for our citizens, including employment opportunities, leisure time activities, and community events.


The Chamber Provides:

A business research library, counseling and education, new contacts for members, quarterly newsletters, and an information center.
