Reserving the Camp

To See about renting or reserving the camp for your group retreat, call Mike Haubner, Camp Director at (540) 639-9147

Arrangements may be made by telephone regarding facilities usage to include meeting room requirements, lodging, recreational facility use, dates, usage fees, times and other arrangements. If you prefer a personal visit, please contact the camp manager. A reservation contract will be mailed to the person in charge.

A security deposit of $100 and a deposit of $3.50 per person for overnight lodging will be required. The deposit must be received with the contract.

Unless arrangements are made in advance, payment in full is expected before group departure.

The group leader is responsible for the actions of the group. This includes conveying and enforcing the camp rules.

The kitchen is available for group use. The rental group is responsible for providing their own plastic ware, paper plates, cups, napkins, etc.

You are responsible for our own clean up. You are expected to leave the camp as you found it. Please check with the manager for cleaning supplies and a list of cleaning responsibilities.

The pool is not to be used except by prior reservation with the Camp Manager.

Alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs are prohibited at BRCC!

Dirt bikes, ATV's, guns or pets are not allowed at BRCC.

No late outdoor music or loud noises after 10:00 p.m. We have neighbors that live fairly close and we want to respect them as much as possible.

Dorm Supervision. If your retreat group is "under age", it is vitally important that you maintain proper supervision of your group at all times. No women in the men's dorm and vice versa.

Property Damage. If camp property is damaged or destroyed by your group, you will be charged for repair or replacement.

Campfires should be made only in the designated areas.

Lost/Found Policy. BRCC is not responsible for items left behind, lost or stolen. After 30 days unclaimed items become property of BRCC and will be given to needy families or charitable organizations.

Association. BRCC, a non-profit organization, is owned and operated by the Churches of Christ/Christian Churches of SW Virginia.

Telephone Calls While at Camp: The camp phone number is (540) 639-9147. Any friends or family can call you at this number. While you are at the camp you have access to a pay phone.

Parking at Camp: Please park in the designated parking lot. Areas adjacent to the facilities are for unloading only!

Insurance: BRCC carries secondary insurance coverage only. Any accident incurred during your retreat will NOT be covered by BRCC's insurance unless there is no other coverage that applies.

Equipment: Please check with the Manager to ensure the availability of any equipment you may need.

Beds/Bedding & Dorms: Our main facility is a dormitory with bunk beds. The dormitories are heated. You must provide your own bedding for your group. Each dormitory sleeps 45 people.
